Good day I’d like to attend one of the dinners for 3 centuries of African American chefs. Either date is fine, wherever you have space. Please let me know the cost, and I am plant based/vegan, fyi.
Hello Michael,
Thank you very much for your interest in my dinners. However, none of my meals meet your dietary regimen – The African American chefs in the past were neither vegetarians nor vegans; they routinely created meals with meat, butter, eggs, and cream along with the vegetables that were usually part of the meal. I use their authentic recipes.
Sincerely, Leni
Hi Leni- I was wondering if there is any space at the Dec 1st dinner? I would love to join with a friend for her birthday. Also, apologies for reaching out via a comment. I can’t seem to find where to register on your website! Thanks in advance!
Dear Dr. Sorensen,
I have come across your website after being in Charlottesville for just over 3 years. I teach the Anthropology of Food class at UVA and would love to connect with you. Do you happen to have any space available in one of your upcoming dinners?
Thank you,
Kasey Jernigan
Leni, I am a fellow Dames from DC chapter. I have heard about your wonderful dinners and wonder if you have 2 spots open for the Dec 1 African America Women Chefs dinner.
Thank you,
Cary
HI Laura, Dec 1st is full but the last dinner of the season is Sat Dec 10 and there are openings. You can reserve by clicking on the Global Dinner.
