Thrilled and Delighted at Indigo House: We’re in the New York Times!
What a week here at my mountain farmstead! I’m still at the gob-smacked and huge smile stage of the amazing response to Kim Severson’s New York Times article! A huge shoutout to Kim for her skill in really listening/really hearing. Wow! These past several days have been full of well-wishing and love from family, friends and folks new to me. Thank you, thank you all. So now, after I get my breath, I get to knuckle down to plan more good stuff for Indigo House. First, however, I’ve got to go cut up some collard greens!

My husband and I watched Season 1 of High on the Hog, and somehow missed the fact you are here in Crozet! We moved recently from NoVa to Earlysville to enjoy less congested country life. Now I will be checking your site for events– so bummed you’ve already sold out your current schedule, but looking forward to eventually participating in one of your meals!
