Thrilled and Delighted at Indigo House: We’re in the New York Times!
What a week here at my mountain farmstead! I’m still at the gob-smacked and huge smile stage of the amazing response to Kim Severson’s New York Times article! A huge shoutout to Kim for her skill in really listening/really hearing. Wow! These past several days have been full of well-wishing and love from family, friends and folks new to me. Thank you, thank you all. So now, after I get my breath, I get to knuckle down to plan more good stuff for Indigo House. First, however, I’ve got to go cut up some collard greens!
My husband and I watched Season 1 of High on the Hog, and somehow missed the fact you are here in Crozet! We moved recently from NoVa to Earlysville to enjoy less congested country life. Now I will be checking your site for events– so bummed you’ve already sold out your current schedule, but looking forward to eventually participating in one of your meals! Congrats on the NYT profile!
Hi Maria, Earlysville!! How nice. Welcome to the neighborhood. The dinner schedule for 2022 is now at the website. You can see dates and reservation info there. Regards, Leni
