In which we build a Hoop House for growing in the winter, extending the season, and garden fun
Much to our delight Kip is in the middle of building a high-hoop house to cover the south end of our large garden space. It’s gonna be a wonderful project to play in, grow in, harvest out of. We have all sorts of plans for rainwater collection and what crops to sow inside over the fall and winter.
Here is the site ready for construction
16-foot hog fence panels are the perfect construction material
The framing goes up fast
Here you can see the frames in place with top panels to give a strong roof
More to follow . . . . . . . . . I am sooooo excited!
