Historic Charlottesville Movie Theater Restoration

I got to see the beautiful restoration of the Jefferson Theatre in Charlottesville, VA today. Between talks by the old owner and the man in charge of the current restoration the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society’s Quarterly Meeting was a great success. The thought and care that went into the reconstruction plus learning about the history of the original building made for a great afternoon of local history. Thanks to Hawes and Kirby.
