Description
Our pre-Columbian-inspired meal celebrates the foods of Mesoamerica, dishes the Aztecs created that are still enjoyed around the world. Our meal takes us on a culinary excursion of the floating permanent marketplaces of the city of Tenochtitlan. There will be fresh tortillas with beans cooked in authentic clay pots, and both Black Bean and Sweet Corn tamales accompanying a richly sauced Turkey Mole. The most iconic of Aztec foods – CHOCOLATE – was reserved as a drink for the elite of Aztec society, and we will enjoy it as our dessert.
