Baking class on a chilly Sunday
Last Sunday, I had the most fun baking bread with an astoundingly cool quartet of students. I love baking bread and teaching the technique of making basic, plain, and simple sandwich loaves so every household can have fresh bread when they need it. It’s all part of my aim to emphasize how Home Provisioning (having flour and yeast on hand at all times) gives us peace of mind and the option of warm, fresh bread!

My enthusiastic students were starting from scratch as they had not baked a loaf before. Under my gentle prodding, each person stirred, kneaded, and shaped a lovely loaf. And we made Onion Naan on the griddle for our lunch.
